Refit 2024

The second refit since we've had the boat commenced in October 2019 when she came out the water at Weir Quay in the upper Tamar River. However, the Pandemic prevented any real progress for the best part of a year and she only went back in the water and returned to Dartmouth in August 2022. Further work was carried out in 2024 to complete the return to cruising readiness

The refit comprised:

• Hull new epoxy and paint with Coppercoat antifouling

• New coachroof windows and deck hatches

• Deck and coachroof repainted

• Rewired throughout

• New Eclectic Energy D400 wind generator

• New B & G electronics

• New fuel tanks

• New holding tank

• New Volvo stern gland

• Lining of saloon interior with teak ply and oiling all bare teak

• Sanding and revarnishing of the sole throughout

Accommodation

Forepeak - Double v-berth with stowage under and hanging locker. Accessed through:

 Heads - Lavac toilet, sink with extendable shower tap fitting. Gratings over floor draining to grey water sump. Stowage. Standing headroom 6'2".

Lower main area - open plan area with standing headroom throughout divided into the following sub areas:

Double berth with reading light, stowage and shelf. Stowage and water tank under.

Single berth with"trotter box", reading light, stowage and shelf. Water tank under.

Single berth with reading light, stowage and shelf. Stowage and cupboards under.

Galley (see below)

Galley - Stainless steel double sink with mixer tap from pressurised hot & cold supply, hand pump cold water and second hand pump not currently connected. Sink can be selected to drain either into grey water sump or holding tank.

Stainless steel worktops.

Top opening fridge, keel cooled.

3 burner stove with grill and oven.

Cupboards

Upper main area - saloon. Two settee berths over 6' long with stowage under and behind.

Table with lifting leaf and fiddles.

AM/FM radio/CD player/Bluetooth with speakers in saloon and cockpit.

Chart table with stowage and navigation equipment.

Hanging locker at companionway that drains into bilge
